Anesthetic Monitoring
We use the same monitoring equipment used in human hospitals to make sure that we are keeping your pet safe during their anesthetic event. Two technicians are assigned to every surgery patient to insure they are adequately taken care of. We also limit our surgery patients to 1-2 max a day to make sure that we can focus and be attentive to your pet and their surgical procedure.
Surgery Deposit
We require a surgery deposit to schedule a surgery. This essentially holds your surgery spot on the date scheduled. Because we limit the number of surgeries we do per day, we book up quickly! The deposit is non-refundable, so we recommend only scheduling when you are sure that the date works best for you. The deposit can be carried over if the surgery is rescheduled within a 3-month period.
Pre-op Appointments
Before your pet’s surgery is scheduled, we have them come in for a “pre-op” appointment. At this visit, we explain the procedure, go through the estimate for the procedure, and conduct pre-anesthetic blood work. This should be scheduled a few days before the surgery so that blood work will be in prior to the surgery date.
Phovia
Phovia is a targeted light treatment applied to the incision post-op to improve healing time and the health of the incision. This is an optional treatment that you can elect for your pet. For more information visit: https://www.phoviausa.com/
